Description

Humans are unique. Or so we might like to think. But we actually share many traits with other animals. This exhibition explores how both humans and animals co-operate with each other, have culture, language, can make tools and solve problems, and can even read minds. This has implications for how we think about uniqueness and for humanity’s relationship with the animal kingdom and the wider environment. The exhibition uses natural history specimens, a wide range of artefacts, audio-visual content, and hands-on interactives to explore these concepts and challenge visitors to reconsider their relationship to non-human animals.
