Small article in the Observer about Sarah Hall promoting a link between the Guardian and UEA, Sarah mentions her time at St Andrews University
'I took the creative writing MLitt course at St Andrews University, run by Douglas Dunn and Robert Crawford. At that time I was studying poetry and short stories, not the novel. The course certainly helped me understand those two forms. Writers feel they have writer status because they are producing work. Gifted ones may go on to get published and make a career from it. Such programmes can accelerate their developemnt.'
