Yumiko Fujita Imanishi is delighted to announce that she has received the Good Practice Award from the British Council Japan, endorsed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), for Exploratory Action Research on Student Voice conducted with her upper secondary English students during the 2025 school year.

As her first empirical research project, this award marks an important milestone in her doctoral journey and development as a teacher-researcher.

Yumiko would like to thank Professor Richard Smith, who introduced her to Exploratory Action Research during her MA studies at University of Warwick.
