Description

The UK’s Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC) jointly with the Colombian Administrative Department of Science Technology and Innovation – Colciencias, held a workshop in support of a future joint research call. The workshop hosted approximately 40 leading academics from the UK and Colombia with the purpose of: 1. Informing researchers of the biodiversity evidence needs to support Colombian Departments sustainable biodiversity based development. 2. Facilitating discussion to identify and refine potential priority areas for research collaboration in order to inform the scope of the future joint research call. 3. Facilitating new collaborative and established partnerships between UK environmental and arts/humanities researchers and Colombian researchers.
