Description

The Great War had a huge impact on the city of Dundee and its people. Dundonians continued to feel the effects of the war well beyond the ceasing of hostilities. The event will explore those impacts and effects, particularly in relation to the last few months of the war, the Armistice, and the Treaty of Versailles.

Speakers and panelists include Great War Dundee Ambassadors who have been carrying out fascinating new research about the Great War, and members of the Great War Dundee Partnership. This event is part of the Hidden Histories Great War Dundee project, which was generously funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

It is a joint GWD and Abertay Historical Society Event. No booking required, free event.
