TB treatment monitoring: past, present and future

Activity: Talk or presentation typesInvited talk

A talk given to members of the Mozambique's national Institute of health (MNIH) and the Mozambique's Ministry of Health. The talk explored the evolution of tuberculosis (TB) treatment monitoring technologies and the rate of adaptation. The rate of adaptation on new technologies in TB are slow given the fact that poor smear microscopy discovered in 1882 is still the main tool for monitoring TB treatment in 2016.

Dr. Wilber Sabiiti was invited by the MNIH's seminar committee to give a talk on advances in TB treatment monitoring.
