Talk on Chinese Film Festivals in the diaspora and meetings with film festival programmers from Singapore

    My talk was at Nanyang Technological University and besides students it was attended by about 15 programmers of film festivals from Singapore, including the programmers of the major Singapore International FIlm Festival (artistic director Wenje Zhang), the Singapore Chinese Film Festival (Dawid Lee and others), Perspectives Student Film Festival (Eternality Tan, Chrys Ng, Nikki Draper), and former programmer of the Hong Kong IFF Stephen Teo.

    I held several meetings with programmers outside of my talk, and they were greatly interested in our work, acknowledging its impact for the cross-cultural transmission that our publications have done.
