Description

This was a three-day round-table organised by the Liberty Fund at the Cameron House Hotel, Loch Lomond, bringing together scholars from a range of disciplines, along with public policy makers and think-tank staffers, from across the globe.

All 17 attendees were participants in a series of themed sessions. I was invited as an expert on the standing armies of 17th and 18th century Europe.
