French History Conference held on 6th June 2025 titled 'The King, Foreign Affairs and His Provinces from 1618 to 1789'.
The event gathered a group of eight speakers (academics and doctoral students) from five institutions (Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Nottingham, Universiteit Leiden, Sorbonne Université, University of St Andrews).
It was generously supported by the School of History and the French Centre of the University of St Andrews, St Leonard's Postgraduate College and the Society for the Study of French History.
