Our aim is to celebrate another year of StA-CES, to share existing interests and plan future interdisciplinary research projects, and to welcome prospective members to our research community.The event will coincide with the opening of a new exhibition in the Wardlaw Museum, Alien Worlds, which is based on research by StA-CES members Claire Cousins, Emma Puranen and Emily Finer.
12:00 Introduction to the Centre for Exoplanet Studies and the Alien Worlds Exhibition (Emily Finer)
12:15 Visit to Alien Worlds Exhibition.
12:45 Buffet Lunch
13:15 Short talks (Martin Dominik, Eva Stueeken, tba)
14:00 Lightning talks by attendees and networking.
At 15:00 we will have a chance to try out a new outreach activity designed by Deborah Kent: the Human Orrery.
