SGSSS Doctoral Symposium

Activity: Participating in or organising an event types › Participation in or organising a conference

Description

Taking place in person at Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA) on Friday 8 May, 10 am–5 pm, this is a full day designed by doctoral researchers, for doctoral researchers, open to all Social Science PGRs at Scottish universities, regardless of funding status.

The day will include poster presentations, creative sessions, interactive wellbeing sessions and an open forum, all built around the journeys we take as researchers and the discoveries we make along the way.

This is your opportunity to:
- Reflect on and share your experience of doctoral research: the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
- Hear from researchers who have navigated PhD life and built careers beyond it
- Connect with social science doctoral researchers from across Scotland
- Share your work, gain feedback, and celebrate the journey of doctoral study
