TJ Young, Martim Mas e Braga, Emma Cameron, and Tom Cowton (virtually) attended the Inaugural Kick-off Meeting of the SAGES CryoExchange Forum at the University of Stirling this past Tuesday. The meeting brought together a largely younger crowd working in the polar sciences and was a great way to informally network in this unique subdiscipline across the Scottish Universities. The meeting also served to shape together a shared understanding of the priorities and purposes that CryoExchange aims to achieve over the next three years. The meeting was well received as being very inclusive whilst also achieving its purpose, all had a productive meeting, and some stayed behind to savour the local pub scene in Stirling afterwards.
