Description

St John Paul II Primary School is based in Glenwood South, Castlemilk. It is ranked at #15 in the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation. I have visited the school multiple times in previous roles, but this is my first physical visit since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. I worked with 11 classes across the day from P1 to P7, engaging 98 girls, 109 boys, and 11 female teachers. P6s and P7s explored sorting networks and parallel computing, whilst P1s-P5s explored binary numbers, including spelling their own names, and coding dance parties.
