Reception for leading Lear scholars at Somerville College, Oxford to celebrate the acquisition of the Noakes Archive of Lear papers for the College library: an acquisition many of us (including myself) had supported in writing and facilitated by gaining permissions from owners of Lear manuscripts. A by-invitation-only research network meeting, of a celebratory nature.
