This invited talk for the University of Salford took place as part of the University's Academic Writing Month programme of guest speakers. The talk included a lightning introduction to open access publishing in the humanities and its benefits, with essential guidance on the different types of open access and how they work. Demystifying the editorial process from submission to acceptance, it offered an editor’s tips on how to get published, with practical advice on how to respond effectively to peer review. The session also included a live Q&A, and information on how to get involved as a guest editor.
