Invited research seminar at the Maison Francaise d'Oxford, as part of the 'Modern French Research Seminar' series. This talk examined textual and visual strategies used to represent jealousy in Annie Ernaux's 2002 book 'L'Occupation' and in 'L'Autre', the 2008 film inspired by Ernaux's book, with Dominique Blanc in the leading role.
