Description
Postgraduate experiences vary from person to person, place to place, and from university to university. That being said, when we make reference to experience(s) studying a particular course or programme, especially from a postgraduate point of view, the aim is to be context specific. What I mean by context specific is that the kind of university and the kind of geographic area (you find yourself) highly shapes the kind of experience(s) an individual/postgraduate tends to have. Inasmuch as we may think that universities are educational institutions having academic facilities to facilitate and enhance learning and research, they are equally ambassadors of cultural change and diversity. In the same vein, becoming a postgraduate student in Africa, Europe or America will in some way determine the kind of cultural or educational attachments/experiences you gain.
