The Physics and Astronomy Christmas lecture event was organised by Dr Janet Lovett, with participation of Dr Anne-Marie Weijmans (lecturer) and Prof Brendon Lovett and Dr Bruce Sinclair (demonstrators).
The event was organised for S2 pupils of Madras college, who are enrolled in physics at their school. 71 pupils + 6 teachers attended.
The pupils were split in 2 groups, with one group attending the 45-min Christmas lecture on 'The Secret Lives of Galaxies', and the other group attended physics demonstrations, staffed by volunteers of the School of Physics and Astronomy.
