Nuffield Research Placement 2021

Description

We were able to offer 2 S6 pupils from Scottish secondary schools the opportunity to work with us in the lab and online in the first hybrid Nuffield Research Placements hosted in this model due to Covid-19. The students worked with us to establish the workflow for the soil samples received from schools and youth groups as part of our "Antibiotics under our feet" citizen science project. We have continued to use the workflow and protocols established for further soil samples.
