Description
As part of Music Planet, the St Andrews Chamber Orchestra presented Beethoven’s much-loved ‘Pastoral’ Symphony alongside Mendelssohn’s 'The Hebrides' and Sibelius' Third Symphony in a thought-provoking concert which invited the audience to consider how the composition and performance of orchestral music can be both poetically descriptive of nature, as well as analogous to life cycles and the vulnerability of ecosystems.
