How do we work out how many animals there are?

CREEM and SMRU ran activities on "Counting Critters" at Dundee Science Centre. These activities explored some of the statistical methods used to estimate the size and biodiversity of wild animal populations, including photo-identification, mark-recapture, distance sampling, plot sampling and species discovery curves.
