Helen St Clair Tracy delivered an invited keynote presentation at the annual conference of the Orientation and Mobility Association of Australasia (OMAA). The talk introduced cerebral visual impairment (CVI), explored how it may present in children and young people, and discussed strategies for better understanding and support. The presentation included examples from the early CVI-SIM project, including simulation videos such as the beach environment, and highlighted the value of simulation in professional education and communication with families. The session was grounded in both lived experience and interdisciplinary research.
