Journal of Popular Romance Studies

The Journal of Popular Romance Studies (ISSN: 2159-4473) is an on-line, open access interdisciplinary journal devoted to the study of romantic love in global popular culture. Featuring peer-reviewed scholarship, interviews, book reviews, and teaching-and-learning scholarship, JPRS has appeared twice-yearly since 2009, with issues appearing each April and October at http://jprstudies.org. JPRS is published by the International Association for the Study of Popular Romance, an academic association with over 200 members that has hosted four international conferences—in Brisbane, Brussels, New York City, and most recently in York, UK.
