Presented research on the development of cerebral visual impairment (CVI) simulations as part of an invited platform session at VISION 2022, held in June 2022. The session was organised by Professor Lotfi Merabet (Harvard Medical School) and brought together international experts on CVI. The presentation focused on the development of CVI-SIM and its multiple applications — including use in professional training, teaching, and support for families — highlighting the tool’s versatility. It also reflected on what we are learning through this process, including the development of new theories around simultanagnosia.
