Description

Two informal and interactive lunchtime events at which we will explore the possibilities and perils of interdisciplinary work. Interdisciplinary scholarship can inspire novel research questions and aid the interpretation of our research materials; it can foster innovative methodologies and enhance the relevance of our research projects across disciplinary boundaries; and not least it can generate new scholarly collaborations and lead to involvement in new research networks. However, it can also present big challenges and frustrations, miscommunications and uncertainties. Through these events, you will gain ideas for conceptualizing and developing concrete strategies for conducting interdisciplinary research.
