Film and Beyond Interdisciplinary Retreat

Description

The Film and Beyond Interdisciplinary Retreat consists of a three-day, residential workshop to be hosted at The Burn in Glenesk. The retreat is aimed at PhD students interested in incorporating film in their academic and professional careers and will provide specific guidance for the study and use of film (textual and contextual analysis, use of archival footage, film industries and culture), while encouraging interdisciplinary work among PhD students. Funded by PGR Development Fund
