Description

I was appointed by the Labour government in 2007 to advise on their Service Personnel and Command Paper, and in 2010 was asked by the Prime Minister to produce a report on the Armed Forces Covenant. I have remained on the Reference Group as an independent member since then. It reports to Parliament annually.
