Activity at the Explorathon 2018 research festival:

"Guess who?"

Researchers from the Sea Mammal Research Unit (SMRU) and the Centre for Research into Ecological and Environmental Modelling (CREEM) ran activities at a drop-in research festival in Dundee Science Centre. The activities explored how scientists identify individual seals and dolphins (photo-identification), and how we work out how many animals there are (mark-recapture).
