Description
TJ Young was invited by the BBC to briefly discuss the impacts of Antarctica’s current record-low sea ice cover, where his interview was broadcasted live on BBC’s World Service Newsday Breakfast this past Monday Morning. TJ placed particular emphasis on how drastic reductions in sea ice cover are significant to Antarctic glaciers and ice streams, from coupled interactions between sea ice, ocean dynamics, and glacier behaviour at the ice-ocean interface.
