Description
Since the financial crash of last decade political forces variously described as illiberal, populist, and even fascist have gathered support, won significant electoral victories, and engaged in violence in Europe's streets. But what is the difference between these political and social movements, and what are their commonalities? This talk explores the history of Europe's far-right political movements and the contemporary challenges they pose for democracy and the future of politics on the continent and in Britain.
