Description

Due to Covid-19 several conferences, workshops, and seminars have been cancelled, and only in a few instances they have been moved online. This, we believe, has been a major setback for many graduate students who have missed the opportunity to present their work and who are already struggling with several issues. While we are aware that we cannot replace a conference or a large research gathering, we would like to invite graduate students to submit one piece of work which they would have presented in spring and summer, and to offer them tailored feedback in a 1-to-1 session. We would then contact a couple of senior academics to participate in a wider session and discuss the papers. We may term this the first “ES Section Virtual Graduate School”.
