Conference "Step-Change for Sustainability": run by EUAC (The Alliance for Sustainability Leadership in Education) in Strathclyde University and Online. Video presentation is on the EUAC website - "Sustainability in the Curriculum: Music Soundscapes in Assessment'. The presentation explained the way in which soundscape creation can help students do independent work that engages with ideas and affective value of environment. This creative work gives students choices that can be used to reflect their diverse backgrounds and interests. The conference leaders tagged this as 'learning through play', and it was used as an example of sector-leading best practice.
