    Description

    The United Kingdom Competition Appeal Tribunal is a specialist judicial body with cross-disciplinary expertise in law, economics, business and accountancy whose function is to hear and decide cases involving competition or economic regulatory issues.

    The Competition Appeal Tribunal acts for the Competition Appeal Service to hear appeals against competition law decisions of the OFT, sector regulators and the Competition Commission.

    Professor Gavin C Reid was appointed an Ordinary Member of the Competition Appeal Tribunal by the Minister for Competition, Mr Edward Davey MP, on the 7th January 2011.
