Description

Chinese students studying in St Andrews in partnership with the Laidlaw Music Centre and the new Department of Chinese Studies perform and present music from the Chinese- speaking world. Featuring traditional instruments (guzheng and erhu), new music by contemporary Chinese composers for clarinet and cello, traditional and contemporary popular songs.
Vivienne Chow presents the history of Hong Kong's Cantopop.
