President of the 'History of science' section, British Science Festival, Aberdeen. In addition to overseeing all the history of science activities at the Festival – academic sessions, outreach sessions, schools workshops – this involves organising the presidential session, which will be a topical panel discussion on the relationship between science education and science popularisation.
