The workshop opened a Europe-wide conversation with archivists and institutions to develop shared best practices for preserving, cataloguing, and presenting filmstrips — and to help shape a broader model for caring for other obsolete media. We invite institutions and professionals across archival, academic, and creative fields to join us. All these insights are key to ensuring these unique materials become identifiable, accessible, and meaningful for researchers and the public today.
