'Belief and its alternatives in Greek and Roman religion', St Andrews, 2-3 July 2010

Description

I organised a 2-day conference in St Andrews from 2nd-3rd July 2010 under the title 'Belief and its alternatives in Greek and Roman religion.' The topic was the value of the concept of belief in the study of religion in ancient Greece and Rome and Late Antiquity. Keynote speakers were drawn from Classical Studies (both Greek and Roman), Theology and the Philosophy of Religion.
