BBC World War One at Home - Dundee

The Great War Dundee Commemorative Project, Dundee City Council, and the Lord Provost's Office co-hosted and jointly organised a two-day BBC World War One at Home partnership event staged in City Square, The Caird hall and the Marryat Hall, Dundee, 1-2 August 2014. Drs William Kenefick and Derek Patrick, and University Archivist Caroline Brown were closely involved in organising the Great War Dundee element of the event. Caroline Brown organised the partnership event in the Marryat Hall, and all three took part in public history sessions in front of large and enthusiastic audiences. Over two days 12000 people visited the event.
