Description
The Summer Teams Enterprise Programme 2022 is an opportunity for undergraduate students to invest 7 weeks in participating in a fully-online skills development programme, where they will work on a real-life project designed and supported by University staff, gain virtual team-work experience in a group of diverse students, contribute to the University’s learning and teaching through working on impactful outputs, and get this experience listed on their HEAR transcript. In 2022, the undergraduates worked on 18 articles connected to the Antibiotics Under Our Feet project. These articles received double the number of page views (from 5/day to 11/day) after the students had finished editing them. Links to the articles have been added to the Antibiotics Under Our Feet website to enable our participants to look up the bacteria that were found in their soil samples.
